Paleo Diet Doctor on Proteins: Video 1 – Introduction

The Paleo Diet is an overall sound and healthy eating system, however, its heavy emphasis on meat is of concern to many.

Meat can be quite healthy as long as processed meats are avoided. Please Note: BACON, which has been advocated by many in the cross-fit / paleo community (since it is meat) is NOT a healthy choice as it is a processed meat product.

Additionally, many people are concerned about the environmental sustainability and ethics of heavy meat consumption (and rightly so if we care at all about future generations and preserving resources).

Paleo Proteins Perfected is a new line of products that helps to solve this dilemma by incorporating the highest quality, clean, sustainable proteins along with key nutrients that tend to be lacking or missing in most plant-based diets. The Paleo Diet is all the rage and it continues to grow. Paleo proteins are mostly considered to be meat-based but this isn’t necessary.

Learn how we’ve devised a way to get all the benefits of paleo or meat-based proteins from both plant-based and other, non-meat based sources that include all of the key nutrients that are otherwise missing from a plant-based diet.

It isn’t just about the amino acid profile or a complete protein as so many have alluded. It is about numerous important nutrients that only occur in sufficient quantities in an animal protein based diet.
